The Last few days I have been doing a lot of photo editing.

This one Seemed like an Ok shot But turning it black and white really sold it to me.

I have to keep reminding myself to check if an image is better in B&W you never know until you try.

Light painting a still life

Today I wanted to try a still life but instead of lighting it conventionally I wanted to give light painting a go.

Lots of the examples of light painting I see on the web are trying to make the light into a special effect which wasntwhat I was after.

The end result is a 30 sec exposure lit with one LED torch im reasonably hapy with this as a first attempt.

Had a very interesting evening, the Ware Photographic Society was holding a practical evening. There were a few different setups and we all got to try out.
